i saw martyn 3x live..once in a pub in st. john's @ the release of one of his mom's books... one in a club and once @ an irish music fest [both in toronto] ..he was amazing.. @ the fest he played while a huge thunder and lightening storm raged around the [semi] outdoor venue right @ the lakeshore ..verra elemental... seemed a perfect fit to his music and his energy... my gf and i were just talking about the concert the other day..that it was one of the most amazing concerts we had ever seen... i had no idea he had passed away until about 1/2 hour ago and i am verra saddened by the news, albeit 2 years ago

Greetings from Kansas! I have loved Martyn's music for some years, and have been quietly working on getting all of the albums I can lay hands on. [It is taking longer than I would like due to finances.] This is proving difficult with Hardland, it isn't available on the American Amazon.com site. Is there another distributor that ships to the U.S.A. I could check for this album?

Sorry I missed the tribute concert, just couldn't get a ticket for love nor money! Just goes to show how popular and how many people this unusual man touched with his extrordanary vibrant music. I bought his first album way back in the 90's and I was not prepared for what came out of the speakers. From that day on, I was hooked!

its almost 2 years since we lost our beloved Martyn and I lost my beloved mum, words are never enough to explain the loss of both but another year has passed, the love is the same and the passion still lives on in all 3 of us, Dave, Claire and wee Calum [3 + a half].
